A centrifuge bag (also known as a centrifuge filter bag or liner) is a specialized filter media used inside centrifugal separators to separate solids from liquids during high-speed rotation. These bags serve as replaceable liners that capture the solid “cake” while allowing the liquid (filtrate) to pass through the permeable cloth.

🧪 Key Features & Materials

  • Constructed from durable fabrics like polypropylene (excellent acid resistance), polyester, nylon, or even specialty materials like PEEK or fiberglass depending on application.

  • Available in various micron ratings (e.g. 1 µm to 100 µm) and custom shapes—flat-bottom or cone, with flanged tops, zippers, lifting handles—for specific centrifuge models .

  • Designed to endure centrifugal forces, chemical exposure, thermal stress, and abrasion
